This and That for Friday
~~~ Does the gas in your tank make your car run better? It should.
At $109 a barrel your car should run like new.
~~~ Sarah Palin hit a home run with this quote. “Obama apologizes for
the inadvertent Koran burning this week. Now the U.S. trained and protected the
Afghan Army can apologize for killing two of our soldiers yesterday.”

It’s about time an American acts presidential. The Moslem fanatics are
in complete charge of what we are told is one of the world’s great religions.
That’s nonsense. The more we see the more many of us doubt there is such a
thing as a moderate Moslem. Are they all fanatics?
~~~ Another five years? Dream on Barry. That may have been about the
most Pinocchio matter coming out of the White House this the week.
That was the biggest whopper until presidential big mouth Jay Carney said
President Obama is "committed to...an all-of-the-above approach" on
domestic energy production, and he "didn't turn down the Keystone
pipeline." Now that’s real gag and choke material.
~~~ Does the gas in your tank make your car run better? It should.

At $108 a barrel your car should run like new.
~~~ New Nikes for $240 a pair? You’d have to be nuts. Then to stand in
line overnight (or even longer) for a chance to buy a pair.
Btw, where were these super-duper sneakers made? I bet not in the USA.
Nike should be ashamed of itself. What’s the difference between Nike and
a street walker? I didn’t know there was a difference.
~~~ Most of in the northeast delight in the mild winter we are having.
Sure, why not?
We’ve been reading numerous stories and forecasts that this mild winter
will be the forerunner of a heightened bug season. We can expect various pests
in huge numbers.

Most of us have desired such a winter but will now be faced with the
pests as a direct consequence. Keep the swatters handy.
~~~ The following appeared in the Hill:
“The $16.4 trillion debt ceiling could be reached just weeks after
Election Day, according to a new report.
“The analysis raises the possibility that lawmakers might have to raise
the nation's borrowing limit before the election, a scenario they took pains to
avoid in the debt deal passed in August.
“Now, partially due to lower than expected tax receipts, the nation
could reach the $16.4 trillion debt limit as early as late November, according
to an analysis from the Bipartisan Policy Center (BPC) to be released Friday…”
Yada, yada, yada. The oil prices are not the only gas pains we have.
~~~ Should we await Afghanistan apologize to us for allowing some Korans
to be used for propaganda purposes which have now led to the death of American
soldiers who are there to defend Afghanistan.
Newt Gingrich is right in that it is us who aree the victims here. We
have bent over backwards to help Afghanistan join the rest of humanity.

It is obvious they want no part of it so let them return to their caves
and living in squalor.
Have a nice weekend.
Ciao…….Moe Lauzier
